03DEVELOPMENT

Build it properly.

I build the website in a private staging environment. Responsive behaviour, content editing, performance, integrations and the agreed functionality are tested as part of the build.

Final content, integration access and consolidated feedback during the agreed review rounds.

You Receive

A complete working website on staging, ready for final review and approval.

Goal

The full build has passed internal QA and all launch-blocking feedback has been resolved.

04LAUNCH

Go live with the details checked.

After final approval, I move the website to production and complete the live checks. Forms, analytics, redirects, integrations and key user journeys are verified before handover.

Hi, I'm Jack
Granatowski

An independent WordPress developer based in Poland, working with clients internationally.

I have spent more than a decade building, improving and maintaining websites for businesses, e-commerce teams, creators and organisations. Some needed a completely custom platform. Others simply needed someone to take a stubborn technical problem off their hands.

Working independently means I stay close to every project: I know what was built, why it was built that way and what should happen next. Some of the websites I look after today I built years ago, and they keep working because nothing about them has to be rediscovered every time something changes.

Questions I get asked a lot

Do you only build fully custom websites?

No. A custom build is useful when the project has specific design, performance or functionality requirements. For a smaller project, an existing website or a limited budget, an adapted foundation may be the better decision. I recommend the approach that fits the project rather than treating custom development as the only serious option.

Do you use a page builder or build from scratch?

I primarily use Bricks as the visual development layer, supported by custom PHP, JavaScript, CSS and ACF where required. This gives clients a practical editing experience without restricting the site to a fixed template or a library of prebuilt widgets. The exact approach depends on the project. Performance, maintainability and ease of use come first.

What technologies do you use?

My usual stack includes WordPress, WooCommerce, Bricks, ACF, PHP and JavaScript. For CSS, I often use SLASHED — an open-source framework I built. I adapt the stack when a project has different technical requirements. Every site is tested against Core Web Vitals and the performance targets agreed at the start of the project.

How much does a website cost?

A complete business website starts from $4,000. WooCommerce projects start from $6,000. The final price depends on design, content, functionality, integrations and the condition of any existing website. Smaller, clearly scoped work is available through audits, landing pages, focused development and hourly technical support.

How long does a project take?

Most focused business websites take approximately four to eight weeks once the required content, feedback and access are available. Larger WooCommerce stores, migrations and complex integrations are scheduled individually. You receive a realistic timeline before work begins.

What do you need from me to get started?

A short description of the project, your current website if you have one, available brand materials and an overview of your content. Reference websites are also useful, especially when you can explain what you like about them. You don't need to prepare everything before the first conversation. The process is structured so that the right materials are requested at the right stage.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. Every new build includes a 30-day bug warranty and one complimentary month of Care Core. After that, a Care Plan can cover software updates, backups, monitoring, fixes and ongoing technical support.

Can you fix or take over an existing WordPress site?

Yes. Existing sites usually start with an audit. I'll review the current setup, identify the main technical and performance issues, and recommend whether it makes sense to repair the existing build or replace it.

How do payments work?

Fixed-price projects are divided into milestone payments connected to the main phases of the project. Care Plans are billed monthly. Payment is available by bank transfer or PayPal, in the currency agreed for the project. I am VAT-registered in Poland; invoices to business clients outside Poland are issued under the reverse charge procedure where the conditions are met.

Can you work from a design created by someone else?

Can you work from a design created by someone else? Yes. I can develop a WordPress website from supplied Figma or other complete design files. Before quoting, I review the designs to identify responsive behaviour, missing states and technical questions.

Will I be able to edit the website myself?

Yes. The editing experience is planned around the people who will maintain the website. I avoid exposing unnecessary technical settings and provide practical instructions or training where agreed.

Can you help with a smaller issue on an existing website?

Yes. I take on focused repairs, improvements and clearly scoped development when the issue is within my area of work and the website can be accessed safely. Send the website address and describe what is happening. I will tell you whether it looks like a direct fix, needs an audit or would be better handled another way.

Do you guarantee a PageSpeed score?

Performance targets are agreed for the specific project and tested before launch. The final score can be affected by hosting, analytics, advertising scripts, external integrations and content added after launch. I explain what is slowing the website down, what can be improved and where the sensible limits are. A separate Performance Rescue service may include a conditional guarantee when defined in the written offer.
